Playing It Safe on the Goddard Golf Course
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Goddard Memorial State Park Golf Course has adopted new policies to reduce the risk for patrons, staff and the general public. The Golf Course is currently closed for the season and expects to reopen in April 2021.
Please read this important COVID-19 Safety Message before booking your tee time.
You must book a tee time in advance. Tee times are scheduled every 10 minutes between 7:30 am and 6 pm. Call the Clubhouse at 401-884-9834 to register for your tee time. You can pay by cash or credit when you arrive. If you're paying by cash, please bring exact change.
Golf carts are available for $15/nine holes. Last golf cart rental of the day is 4 pm.
Disability Pass for Golf Course
To be eligible for a disability pass at the Goddard Golf Course, you must present documentation verifying you are eligible to receive free admission. Please see the Rhode Island Statute below for details.
By Rhode Island State Law 32-1-17, no fee shall be charged to any person with a disability regardless of age, or to automobiles transporting a non-driver with a disability at any recreational facility owned by the state, provided, however, proper identification is presented as prescribed by the Department of Environmental Management. For the purpose of this section "person with a disability shall mean an individual who has a physical or mental impairment and is receiving: [A] Social Security disability (SSDI), [B] Supplemental Security Income benefits (SSI) or Veterans benefits and who shall be determined under applicable federal law by the Federal Department of Veteran's Affairs to be 100% disabled through a service connected injury.
